Police install Finland's first average speed surveillance cameras

Road surveillance based on average speed calculations is to begin for the first time in Finland on Monday, according to the Finnish police.

Two cameras measuring average speeds have been positioned on road 5 in central Finland, around twenty kilometres from Heinola in the direction of Mikkeli.
