Russia and Finland will hold in 2011 in St. Petersburg the first joint industry forum

Russia and Finland has agreed to hold the first joint industry forum in March 2011 in St. Petersburg, that will promote cooperation and establish business contacts not only between large enterprises, but also representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

 

Presentation of the Forum was held in the Trade Representation of Russia in Helsinki. Russian trade representative Valery Shliamin told that "the idea of this event arose after the successful holding in April 2010, the Finnish-Russian Innovation Forum in Helsinki" and stressed that "this forum, we consider as a form of public-private partnership."

The organizers of the Industrial Forum will perform large-scale exhibition companies in Finland and Russia, scheduled for the same period, the St. Petersburg Technical Fair "and the so-called partneriat - a form of establishing business contacts. All three business activities will focus on industries such as metallurgy and metalworking, engineering, nanotechnology and industrial innovation. Another important theme of the forum will be cooperation at the regional level.
