Opening Ceremonies of Turku European Capital of Culture 2011 on January 15th
Turku kicks off the Capital of Culture year with a weekend full of activities. The opening weekend will be the largest individual event of the year. The main performance and various events for the entire family will draw audiences to the city centre. On Sunday, the festivities will continue in the city districts and across the region.
